Church Conservation Grants

The William & Jane Morris Fund award grants to churches, chapels and other places of worship in the UK for the conservation of decorative features and monuments, but not structural repairs. This includes stained glass windows, sculpture, furniture, internal monuments and tombs and wall paintings. The decorative feature, monument, etc must be dated before 1896 (the date of William Morris’s death). The deadline for applications is 31 March 2018. Details here.

Calor launches £50k rural grant scheme

Off-grid energy supplier Calor has announced a fund for 21 individual prize pots to support rural communities throughout the UK. Launched in 2017, past submissions included funding for community centres, village halls and sporting venues, as well as the installation of fibre broadband into an off-grid village. Applications open on 20 March however those wishing to register their interest can do so here.
