Further Information for participants
  • Ride and Stride participants choose their own journey between churches, chapels and meeting houses, visiting the places they want, because there is no set course.
  • Its a great way to have fun, exercise and a day out with a difference.
  • Participants are sponsored for the number of places of worship they visit in the day.
  • Ride & Stride coincides with Heritage Open Days each year and is a wonderful way to visit churches which might otherwise not be open.
  • Ride and Stride 2012 is on Saturday 8th September.  See sponsor information 2012 and church sign in sheet.  Posters will be available shortly. Send us an email now to This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it and can post forms to you in due course.
  • You can get a map showing the location of the churches to visit, and those that will be open, from our Church Directory.

While a lot of people enjoy the challenge of planning their own route, others prefer to have a route to follow. Some previous year's participants have shared their routes: see below (and main page for a short account of these routes). If you want help in planning a route or in teaming up with others in your area - contact us here.
