Heritage Tile Conservation was founded in 1984 by the current Directors of the company Christopher Dellow and Jeremy Southorn. They began their careers in conservation at the Ironbridge Gorge Museum in 1978, initially restoring historic buildings and artefacts relating to the industrial revolution, before setting up and developing the ceramic conservation department of the Jackfield Tile Museum, where they worked until 1984.
